Let them eat the avms. Have fun. They think they can replace everyone and everything.

And let them try to sell that garbage in the secondary market.

Zillow does AVMs too. lol

Take that paper to Louisiana and the VA and the FTC.

Tell them everything you know relative to public trust relative to fastest and cheapest.
Does this topic need to be muddled with Louisiana?
Every topic needs to be muddled with Louisiana (and the VA) in the mind of that guy.

What he does not seem to realize is that posts like his in this thread (and other threads) actually provide more ammunition to those who would like further expand the use of PIW's and other appraisal alternatives.

He also does not seem to realize that if the government took over the appraisal business as he seems to be desperately hoping for, that does not mean that the use of PIW's and other appraisal alternatives would stop, especially since the Philadelphia Fed is telling the government and others that AVM's are better than appraisals at predicting defaults.

What makes you think they can't sell loans without appraisals in the secondary market? They are currently selling Fannie Mae PIW and Freddie Mac appraisal waiver loans in the secondary market on a daily basis.

That's a joke. Liability will bury you like it did the FRB. At the state level for sure.
