FHA Side Pictures?

We should pool all our FHA knowledge and write a FHA for Dummies book.

I just wait here for the cheap shot.

Better make it available as a dvd, most "Dummies" don't want to read a book, manual, Mortgagee Letter, etc.. :rof::rof::rof:

Hmmm..Does that mean one shot front oblique (Left or right) with one rear shot oblique (Left or right) or will two front oblique shots do?How about a straight flat shot of all sides???.Perplexing , eh........

I take front, rear, sides....the more pics the better!

It all depends on if I can get all of the front and all of the side, all of the rear and all of the side in the photo. Sometimes I have to take photos of the sides only if there is not room to move to to get an angled shot.

Thanks to everyone who helped me out with this. I was pulling hair because the LO would not listen. I finally told him that I would go back to the property for an ADDITIONAL FEE if he wanted separate side shots. After a while he agreed that my original shots would do just fine. HA!!! I also cut & pasted the exerpts from the handbook so graciously provided by fellow appraisers in this forum. Thank you for your QUICK help. It's much appreciated.
By the way, should I take offense from the remarks about FHA for Dummies?

"Front and rear at opposite angles to show all sides of the building" Perplexing?

Digital photo's cost $0.00

I use a six photo page for every report and include both sides AND street right and left. It only takes a second, costs nothing, and adds to the professionalism of the report. I have not understood why folks are so stingy with photos that cost nothing.

I generally take at least 74 photos of the subject property.
