FNMA and Permits and Extraordinary Assumptions

Well, according to FNMA, extraordinary assumptions are allowed. Use google to look it up.
Perhaps you could supply a supporting citation ?? - since it is so easy to find and all :)

Yes! If there is one thing I have learned at this Forum over the years is. - Research: The question; belief; I heard that; or statement.

FNMA even gives an example of a 'No, you Can't Do That! They even go on to explain normal assumptions we make and why they are acceptable

Howard Khlar, bless his heart. He tries his best on Facebook Appraiser forum to encourage Independent Research.

When I was a Military Ground/Flight Instructor I never gave them the easy way out with the actual answer. It is different though if there is difficulty in understanding a Rule, Law, Regulation. etc Then I would bend over backwards to help the pilot get through it.

I am pretty sure my internet works just like yours, so feel free to provide current citation that FNMA does not allow them
 
Oh look, on the form most residential appraisers use every day.
Or subject to the following required inspection based on the extraordinary assumption that the condition or deficiency does not require alteration or repair:
Show me where they are not allowed.

Well, obviously you are not doing FNMA residential work because that little statement that allows extraordinary assumptions is right above where you put your MVE.
