Those who are interested in attending a meeting of members of the Appraisers Forum, in October, in Las Vegas, please sign up here.

Give us an idea of how many will be attending (totals please, not "me and3"). We are going to attempt to get comped rooms and attraction discounts and possibly reduced airfare for those that want to fly, but we have to act quickly. We will also try to get some sort of CE credit arranged for to make the trip deductible. If you have suggestions on this, please e-mail me at appraisal.services@gmail.com .... ASAP ....

Please sign up with numbers by July 15th, so that we can get started. It may be necessary to move just outside of Vegas, but notices will be placed here to keep everyone abreast of the situation.

Questions and suggestions are encouraged!!

We look forward to seeing as many as possible in Vegas !!

Me and 1. Doug.. that equals 2. Seriously, check out Rio. Great place.

Depending on when it is, I'd be interested - I don't think I'll be able to do anything in 2004, simply because of the fact that I chewed up all my vacation time for this year up with my wedding and honeymoon.

Doug... why didn't you set this up as a poll, so you don't have to count up to 20 or 30 by yourself?

Merriman... Just go. I want to give you a hard time in person. :D

If it goes above 20 Greg, I will employ my wife's fingers and toes to help me ....

Get in line Greg - I'm sure you're not the only one!!!!

A lot will depend on timing, I need to know when before I could commit to anything.

I'm in, but I prefer mid-October over the Halloween weekend. I have kids y'now. Any hotel on the strip is fine with me. Vegas makes the most sense. It usually has the cheapest flights and rooms are usually a bargain, too. Plus, there is plenty of entertainment. Doug and Doug are bound to run out of material at some point.

Ditto Tim's post. 2nd weekend or so in Vegas would be good for us baring this doesn't cost an arm and a leg..ya know trainee's don't get paid much. :(

Trust me on this ..... I will be looking for the least expensive way out of this ..... or into it ..... while still maintaining a reasonable degree of comfort .... I don't think I would consider some flea bag motel or trailer park rentals .... although it would be cool if we could find some condos for the weekend at a reasonable price .... ("reasonable" to be based on a trainee's income) ;)

Hey, I could have suggested Dallas. Nice central location. Big airport. Hour drive from my house.

No way. Last I remember, Vegas is the cheapest vacation with nice hotels and reasonable rates. Cheap until you get there. Otis, Greg..you have to pace yourselves. You don't have to spend everything in the first hour.
