Another view from a non-fee appraiser, trying to paint a halo over timd. :)
And another truly false post from someone who apparently cannot read effectively.
:rof::rof::rof::rof:

The pot calling the kettle black.

Perhaps we should quote and repost some of your own comments about posters on this site.

.
Keep distorting and making stuff up Marion (and your little toady Terrell). Stick with your strengths!

I suspect that he can read just fine. The problem is that he is deceitful about those with whom he disagrees. That is the type of thing that some people do when they have no argument to make based on the merits.

This is just food for thought.

It seems like a lot of discussion on here is about the "consumer" and about protecting them. It seems everyone is assuming the consumer and borrower are the same entity. Is that correct? Since the intended user is the client, the whole purpose of the appraisal in a mortgage transaction is to provide information and security to the client, would the client/lenders/banks/mortgage companies be considered the consumer, since they are "consuming" the product. If you view it from the perspective, does it change some of the opinions?

Honestly don't know, but just thought it was an interesting point of view if you alter the perspective of trying to protect the consumer, if the consumer is the client/lender/FNMA, etc vs the borrower.

Maybe this is totally out of left field, but thought I throw it out there.

Keep on.
I'm sure there is a confessional reserved just for you to confess in every week.

I realize you miss the global warming threads, so you have not gotten many hugs lately.

Here you go Petey,

:amigos:
feel all better about yourself now without slighting other people for no reason? Pity the university did not teach teachers how to convey their own ideas without trying to make fun of other people first, eh?

.

Marion, your posts make fun of themselves with their distortion, misinterpretation, and misreading. You are the one that makes fun of the facts.

Good will come out of this thing that involves everybody from the FTC to the FDIC and OCC to banks owning AMC's and non bank owned AMC's to banks to the Fed Reserve to Appraisers and Appraisal organizations to State governments to the BORROWER and the general public tax paying member.

In a dimly lit backroom some dirty lobbyist is handing a white envelope to an un-named person. That is our fate.

The federal government likes to exempt themselves from laws. Healthcare, anti-trust, and my favorite insider trading. I wonder how it feels to write laws and not follow them.
