Bully dollars

... the left is now attempting to say that unemployment does not matter to the overall economy ....

.... that the DOW will no longer be affected by unemployment figures ....

.... the FED and the DOW are completing the split between real world economics and upstream fiat currency benefiters .....

.... Republicans in DC show that they are really just parasites looking to keep their jobs ...

.... .there is no leadership for free markets ..... free markets for the little guy ......

.... only bully dollars

... ... bully cities

.... bulllies everywhere

Why is the stock market not reacting to high unemployment, etc? Because, unlike the 80's, when we could come out of the Carter years by cutting taxes and encouraging jobs in the US, companies are moving off-shore. We are a much more global economy today, with many big companies actually having a majority of its operations outside the US.

Do you want to improve job growth in the US? It will take three things. First, reign in government spending (fat chance). Second, reign in the regulators (EPA, etc - fat chance again). Finally, redo the tax code to cut all the special breaks and reduce the overall rates (fat chance -strike three).

The extremists entrenched in the Washington establishment will resist cutting spending and regulations to the death. The companies and financial firms with strong reasons to embrace the special tax breaks will use every effort to thwart any revision to the tax code.

And the rest of us watch as the US circles the drain.

It looks like 1914 again

The world we have known since the end World War II, of ever-broadening economic prosperity, is poised for implosion. The global economy has proved over the past three years to be a resilient beast but even it cannot survive the simultaneous collapse of Europe and the United States, its two dominant components.

Depression of 1922 -

Kuehn states that the Harding administration raised taxes in 1921 by expanding the tax base considerably at the same time that it lowered rates. Kuehn also argues that Woods underemphasizes the role the monetary stimulus played in reviving the depressed economy and that, since the 1920-21 recession was not characterized by any aggregate demand deficiency, fiscal stimulus was unwarranted.

What Is So Scary, Now The Gooberment And The Banks Have So Much Control.

They Want Me To Direct Deposite My Ss To A Couldbe Controlling Bank.

Say I Owe Them A Payment, Now I Payit When I Please And By Any Method. In Case Of Devaluation The Bal Is Still The Same And They Could Just Draft As They Please, Regardless If I Needed To Pay Later In The Week.

As Ercle Said, I Cannot Guarantee If Your Ss Check Is Late( How Many Days Is Late?). By Law He Has To Pay, But When?

How Much Cash Will They Let One Draw Out? In Former Ussr In 2003 It Was $50.

I Case Of A Food Famine, Who Would Get First Call--most Likely Those In The Concrete Jungle. "because They Have No Way Of Growing Food".

Also, Have You Looked At A Seed Catalog Lately?

Most Are Hybrid Seeds. You Cannot Grow From Them Next Year. All Seed Companies Are Registered. What If Ercle Says The Upper Midwest Gets The First Seed?

Me Thinks They Have Us By My Seeds. (b--ls)

Hey Ed,

Not sure if you already know it, but there are quite a few companies that sell heirloom (non-hybrid) seeds online. I've got a good sized garden in my back yard, but noticed that the cost to purchase starter plants has gone through the roof this past year. Seriously...$3.50 to buy one single Anaheim pepper plant? Ha! I don't think so. Last year I could buy a 6-pack for $2.99. What's up with that?!

Next year I'm going to grow heirloom seeds. I'm currently looking for a small used greenhouse to buy, or else I'll build one from scratch.

Buy /save seeds now for next year, store in the freezer. I planted some melons this past year that I found in a jar when we cleaned out my mother's freezer after her death. They were put there by my father prior to his death in 1992. They grew. I suspect they were desert king watermelons.

I'm keeping enough water on my garden to survive the 102 heat but it is a struggle - may sacrifice about 1/3rd the garden this year.
