The word I hear from one of the instructors was that you had a very good group of students. I hope all who attended found it beneficial, and hope you all did well on that tough exam.

I Hope All Did Well. I Was Approved To Take This Test A Year Ago But For Some Reason Wasn't Notified. I Happened To Be On This Thread Friday Night And Found Then. Guess I Just Have To Wait! Good Luck To All Tht Attended!

Good times, tough test...hope I passed. Felt good, but then again my brain was mush by the time we got to the test. But I was honored to be in class with caliber people there...truly wonderful.

Hello all;

Through a fluke on my part, I made my return reservations for Monday, so I hung out at the hotel for the morning, and then took the shuttle to the airport.

In regard to the class - very professional!!. Orientation was done by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Appraisal Foundation - Gary Taylor. Our instructors Paula Konikoff and Henry Reily were each members of the ASB or the AQB. These instructors made themselves available after hours for any help anyone might have needed.

Yes the course was daunting, but there was a genuine feeling that the instructors were really pulling for us to do well.

I must say that the quality of the students was really great. I am proud and humbled to be in the group.

I will stick my neck out and say that I think I passed. We will know in a few weeks, and if I did not pass I will be "man enough" to post that here, and will certainly do the retake.

Regards to all

Hal

Hal,

What a nice post. I wish you well. As an old time Real Estate seminar speaker use to say..."Your attitude determines your altitude". Sounds like you have gained a lot of altitude. Took me more than twice to pass the exam. A humbling but worthwhile experience.

Hal is a sweetie ;)

So is Brian (my favorite sparring partner on the forum) and it was great meeting Annemieke and Goodpasture there too. There were a lot of folks who frequent the forum there who aren't much into posting. I didn't meet anyone who I wouldn't be happy to associate with. Everyone was very professional and serious about the profession. A breath of fresh air.

It's nice to know a number of the forumites took the course...will be waiting to hear the results. I am not ashamed to say I needed to take it twice in order to pass.

Hal...Gary E. said he met you and that you said to say "hi". He was also impressed with the class and believes he passed. I think that is a good sign...I was unsure the first time. Had the best instructor the second time and I thank God every day for Danny Wiley!

"Hal is a sweetie "

I don't want to be a "SWEETIE", YUCK, a guy doesnt want to be cute, or a sweetie. I would rather be a "Hunk" or "Hot", but cheeesh a "Sweetie"???. Maybe true but don't tell anyone else.

Love you Racheal

Hal
