I'm getting into foreign currency exchange...in particular, I exchanging my dollars for Chucky Cheese tokens...I figure by 2011 I'll be able to purchase 10x as many rides and burgers as I can at current rates.

I have several thousand Discovery Zone tokens. If only I could find an arcade that used a similar size token. :rof:

I was thinking about having my next birthday party at Chucky Cheese. Anybody want to come?

Might have to remove my gold teeth if it keeps going up.

Million Millions

Million Millions

by Richard Daughty --- AKA The Mogambo Guru

.....No sooner had I sat down than Jim Willie of the Hat Trick Letter said, "The total of all US$-based mortgage bonds is $10.4 trillion." "A conservative estimate of the prime mortgages within this giant mass is $7 trillion. We all know it is more, so bear with my lowball for argument's sake."

"The prime mortgage bond index measures an aggregate of prime-rated bonds scattered across the beleaguered fifty states, varying over loan size from large to medium to small. The 'AAA' mortgage bond index has lost a whopping 30%, a fact that continuously eludes the big bankers and their legion of obsequious monitoring mavens", and the estimated $1.4 trillion in subprime mortgages, as representative of the "BBB" mortgage bond index, "has lost 80% of its value."
……….
"Add the two numbers from subprime and prime together to reach a $3.2 trillion in their bond losses." Gaaaaahhhh! I'm dying here! How in the hell can you lose $3.2 trillion in a $14 trillion economy? It doesn't make sense! Call the paramedics!
So it is with things getting dark, my senses and organs failing, that I dimly heard Mr. Willie provide the shock therapy I desperately needed when he shouted, "THE OFFICIAL ESTIMATES ARE WRONG BY A FACTOR OF 10!!!"

My delicate Mogambo Sensory Alert System (MSAS) detected something important and sinister in that three-exclamation point punctuation! The shock of the exclamation points, coupled with the revelation that the total losses are going to be at least 10 times as big as estimates project……….

But before my heart could explode from the fear and outrage, suddenly the world was a nicer place when he said that all of this silly crap means that, "GOLD WILL SKYROCKET WHEN THESE NUMBERS ARE FINALLY REPORTED".

Ahhh! I immediately felt better! My heart rate slowed down, and I could feel a smile trying to break through the grim visage of my stony, angry face.

"Gold will skyrocket", he says. I smiled again. A real one this time. Ahhhh!

For those of you who are seriously considering gold, look at Gold ETFs. It's packages of gold stocks, which are more easily traded than raw gold.

You may well find some good trends in 4X ,David;
however some of those smaller 4X dealers are known for bad quotes.

And never will forget what one mother/client said about Chucky Cheese;
said they sucker the kids in & sell overpriced products.[ Lot of youngsters say they lost more in 4X accounts than currency moves.]She also admitted she took her girls there recently for their birthday.LOL Her girls loved it.

:rof: My son has been holding his Disney Dollars, says that they are worth more than "regular" dollars.

Always remember.

to adjust for inflation. Compared with golds record highs in the 1980's, gold is worth approximately half of what is was back then. Thank you, and good night.

My prediction for Gold is that like 1980 it will go sky high and nobody knows when it will start down, but when it does it will go down so fast you cannot get out of it unless you have a standing order to sell. If you wait until it is $3000 to buy then expect to get screwdelled goodly.

Isn't that why G_D made trailing Stop-Loss orders ?? :beer:
