Health Insurance

I recently switched to an HSA with BCBS and chose a high deductible of $5,450. Family of 4 is $579 per month.

RH- That seems a little high. I sell health insurance in CA, but that seems on the high end for that deductable. Is that the deductable for the whole family or pp? If it's pp, email me and I will do a free "comp check" for you.. haha

Thanks for the laugh. I’m convinced there is no topic where one can safely post without being solicited. Let me guess, you’re with AL Williams and there are seven magic levels?

I would never again fill out one of these online insurance quote sites. I was bombarded with calls from everywhere to the point I could not get my work done. They must sell the leads to insurance companies.

I don't believe either of the internet sites provided above gives out your personal information, I filled out the information for an ehealth insurance quote and got zero phone calls. Secondly, on the ehealth insurance site you can get a quote without providing any personal information except your zip code and date of birth. The HSA site doesn't ask for any personal information. I would guess your annoying calls came from another source. Maybe you filled out a card at the state fair or something like that.

I found this information on the ehealth insurance site.

"Shopping with eHealthInsurance is safe. As your health insurance agent, we're committed to protecting your privacy and the information you provide to us. eHealthInsurance will not sell, trade or give away your personal information to anyone, except those specifically involved in the referral or processing of your health insurance quote or application. We use industry leading technologies to ensure the security of all the information under our control."

This is why, recently I try to avoid The Appraisers Forum because there are just too many people here giving out incorrect/unresearched information.
