Help With Plywood "siding" Which Has Been Paintedfha/rd Loan

LOL. Great discussion. I am an appraiser now, but was formerly a carpenter and presently do rehabs on the side. So, FHA. Lets not be complete plywood experts here and just stick to some basics. Lets assume the plywood is exterior acceptable per the manufacturer (even though I can tell you the type here is most commonly used as substrate material, not as siding). The first obvious issue is the lack of paint on bare wood - not FHA acceptable (cedar might be an exception). The second issue I see are the trim corners and the door that are clearly sub-standard in construction and will be allowing the weather to get in. I would wonder if the plywood material used meets market expectations, not whether or not the plywood is exterior grade or not.

had a really nice Accessory Dwelling unit.
Looks like the one I lived in one year in college. Have fond memories of it... It had a wooded hillside behind and my girlfriend and I used to go hiking and picnicking on the mountain. She was a wildlife major and we heard that there was a bear in that area. She said she thought she couldn't outrun a bear but probably could outrun me... :) And, I am sure she was right.

Some exterior grades come pre-painted. I would paint over it anyway.
