Better to look like an idiot now than a bigger idiot later.
No problem...set it on continuous photo - can't miss a thing. And GP's will run 45 minutes or more on battery with cont. setting.

The more fascinating questions for me....
(But I wasn't going to ask it within the 1st 10 replies....)

Is why did you submit the report knowing you didn't have the kitchen photo????
How did you find out the "value" was lower than "expected"? :)

Connect your camera to a usb cord and shove the usb in your ear and concentrate on your memory of the kitchen. Blink, flash, and voila you have a picture. Its on the internet, so you know its true.

Thanks all. This isnt the first time it is happened and I know it happens occasionally with a lot of us. The matter is if you know they will be disappointed in the opinion of value or not. If so, go back out so it doesnt get thrown back in our faces...if the opinion is likely to be acceptable, they can text if needed. I did have a checklist...however, it got glanced over as I was already late for my appts due to a homeowner being one hour40 mintues late for my first appt of the day...... Nonetheless, I am going back to take the photos... thanks for the input.

Funny...in all my years I don't know that I ever had to submit a report with a picture of the kitchen except when there was an obvious defect being highlighted. All this dates me since I haven't done secondary market since 2004 or so.

JTip post #7 is something everyone should do. My inspection form has a place to put the camera photo number - while still sitting in the car before leaving the inspection. We've all missed a photo in our experience. Examining photos taken before leaving a property is prudent.

wow, you are too nice. i give the person meeting me 15 minutes, then call and then leave the site. if we are scheduled for 10am and they are not there by 10:15 i leave. i have too much going on for any given day to sit around and wait over an hour and a half.
