How big are your files?

How big is "my file".

I'll show you mine if you show me yours!!

Is that what the kids are calling it these days???:new_all_coholic: :rof:

It's good to see you posting here, Kate.

Our flies here are so big, it only takes about a hundred of them to cover a cow patty.

typically less than a MB

knock the resolution down on your camera, that will help and I'm suer is the main culprit for those huge sizes.

Kate likes them big.

I keep my camera resolution at 640 x 480. The quality is fine for our work, keeps the file small. Wintotal can also automaticaly adjust the size / quality to minimize the file size. My files with interior, exterior and 5-6 comps rarely go over 1 meg.

I just checked my template. The only image in my template is my certification (man does that feel nice to say:) ). Anyway, my template is 5.12MB:huh: Maybe my certification is so special it demands that much space. I will take it out and see if that is the issue.

Although I agree with all of your first ideas about photo and image size, the pictures shouldn't be the issue b/c they don't enlarge the file significantly in ACI (trust me ACI is way too archaic to have such an advanced feature:rof: That was just for you TC ).

Kate, it's not an issue of ACI being archaic or not it's simply that photos (and videos) take up an incredible amount of space in memory. Other documents take up a minor amount of space.

Kate knows that, she's just an ACI hater and likes to let me know it. :)

I do predominantly REO's, so I have lots of pictures in each report and at least 6 comps (3 sale & 3 listing).

I use alamode athena. My largest report file size is 7294 KB. My largest template is 1093 KB.

Try tech support, there might be an easy fix! :icon_idea:

My win total files are up to 10.0MB

My ACI files are averaging 1.50MB

I called Win total about this and was not satisfied by the answer of that is just how it is.

So, I am curious if anyone else has this issue.

I may have to eat my hat and admit that although ACI is still an inferior product it may not kill my computer like Wintotal is apparently doing. Click forms is still running at 2.0 average and has not had any issues. I was really hoping to stay with Win total but I can't afford the huge files.

Is it just me?
