How do you launch Marshall Swift Cost Estimator?

Years ago I called them and asked about that and was told they include 12%-15% for builder profit. That is in line with what builders here try to make.
But...I have seen cases where two identical new houses sold for widely different prices due to local market conditions, after factoring for things like cost of lot, water & sewer fees etc...
That would be different from what I have been told by instructors, but I can call them and ask as well to verify. Do you remember if M&S indicated as to whether their costs also include the builder's overhead costs?

It was years ago back when the CA was fiercely debated here on AF. I just remember 12-15% for builder profit.

Is it $75 bucks per month or year for M&S Cost Estimator ?

Swiftestimator charges $10.50 per report. It gets pretty ugly when you multiply it by your total # of appraisals per year. We're getting "nickled and dimed" left and right. That's why I HATE all "online services" as opposed to buying a program one time and having it on your PC for unlimited use.

The Internet has come to really, REALLY, *suck* the past dozen or so years. And then we have the anti-"social media". (I'm gonna stop here and spare you my usual rant on this topic). :cautious:

Sick of the book, need to learn the software based one, purchased a one time use, to see how it is and can't figure how to launch it. Getting old.

Any one? Thanks for reply

It's in the Dashboard. It's a little clunky, but it's not hard to use.

I highly recommend, however, checking out a company out of Arizona called Spark. I've been a subscriber for a few months now, and I can't get over how great their service is. Particularly of use to you would be their FREE cost approaches... Easy to use, free, not $7 a report, useful info from DwellingCost, helps me do cost approaches all the time now.
