How strict is FHA/HUD?

Looks like Fernando fixed that....

If you're worried about it, state that you're not a qualified contractor or electrician and call for one to sign off on it.

I'm dealing with a house that the owner just can't seem to get things fixed before they call for a final inspection. The second floor had a light fixture hanging by the wires, I stated in the report that it needed to be properly affixed and not hanging by the wires. One picture is what they did, the other is what it was. Technically, it's somehow affixed and the wires are in the box, but is this acceptable to FHA/HUD?
Make sure your Client understands that you get paid every time you visit the property. It's then their job to make sure the homeowner understands that. It's certainly okay for you to chat about whether the work is really done or just almost done when you contact the property owner to schedule your re-inspection.

Does your lip-and-tongue test come before or after the head-and-shoulders attic/crawlspace thing?
Don't give them any ideas...they might add a saliva test as an additional data field of UAD 3.6

Yes, the wrong light fixture for that angle ceiling is good enough. It covers the box sufficiently.
