what "high tech" advantage do AMCs have for writing Bi-F software????

Let's say the gov't does ban the use of hybrids for most mortgage lending uses. Which maybe they eventually will.

What percentage of the AMCs do you think will consider such a ruling to be a loss to their business interests, vs what percentage will consider it a gain to their business interests?

50-50? 30-70? 10-90? 0-100?


While we're at it, lets assume the gov't adopts a VA-similar minimum wage for 1004 assignments. What percentage of the AMCs do you think would consider that ruling to be a loss to their business interests, vs what percentage will consider it a gain to their business interests?

Fannie does not know it's getting bi-f appraisals, because it's only getting XML data.



And then somebody starts asking questions about it.

Yes, there is a big dispute between AMROCK and HouseCanary, but that has nothing to with anything in this thread and I don't believe that the owner of AMROCK admitted to stealing anything from HouseCanary. In fact, AMROCK, is appealing the trial court verdict and continues to insist that they did not steal anything from HouseCanary. Since neither I nor anyone else in this thread has any personal knowledge about what went on between AMROCK and HouseCanary, I am not sure what point you are trying to make by bring up that case here other than to post another red herring in order to distract people from the subject at hand, which is a typical trick of yours

Why would you assume Fannie doesn't know what it's getting in one of those appraisals?

The only party who would say such a thing would be a party who had no understanding of the basic XML architecture for appraisal reports. So, outside of the possible exception of a few in this thread, I don't think that possibility would generate much serious concern.

Of course it is a SWAG as apparently she does not understand that a PDF copy of the entire appraisal report (including the photos and all attachments) is embedded within the XML that is transmitted to Fannie. However, just because she has no knowledge about the subject won't keep her from continuing to opine on the subject.
