I turned it down because my FHA designation is pending. It is nothing personal, just frustrating that it takes so long to get approved. I am sure the office is understaffed like most gov't offices, but it is frustrating nonetheless.

Hey Brad...

When did your status get changed to "General Public"? FHA newbies have no idea who you are this way. Or is that the intent? :rof: I'll never tell. :nono:

Tim,

I have no dog in this fight...but why did you turn the work down? Just curious!

I have never applied for the roster and we never got requests, maybe got one in the last 3-4 years and then last fall I was turning down one a week at least, and didn't have time to fill out the paper work because we were so busy with commercial work.

I'm FHA-Ready but have to turn down work or get rejected by prospective clients because I won't give them a comp check to see if the loan will work. This didn't use to happen very often. Now it is the norm. Business as usuall with brokers wanting to get into the new sub-prime.

And now they're hatching schemes to co-broker FHA deals.
