Sad but I've known four or five older appraisers get swindled by young Asians or other women who play them long enough to clean out their bank account and run up credit cards.

But he lived in Riverside County and most of his work has been Riverside and San Bernardino County's not the OC. He's added on a hour or two on his assignments maybe more and rents higher in OC.

Geez by 70 years old I don't know if anyone can help him but we had one older appraiser who died on the patio of a home in Palm Springs.

He got dehydrated sat down and the owner found him sitting on patio chair dead as a door nail. He was like 73 years old. We told him to be careful he had diabetes and was kind of goofy. We had another older guy in the Sacramento area who rear ended a semi truck at 70 mph and he died a few days later.

Hmmmm. I had to sit for a moment recently. Damn... one day less than 104 degrees in 5 weeks..

I've gotta say that the temps out here lately have been... a real killer! I was in Indio a couple days ago...116'F Zowie! And tomorrow is another day in the desert for Thousand Palms and Desert Hot Springs. I really hope it is cooler tomorrow, cuz I'm getting like DIZZY in the heat measuring houses, and if the owner is a talker... well then I could pass out from the heat before they shut up!

Speaking of having a 'cool one' or three... did you notice that in Montclair, CA, 2 semi's full of Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer were hijacked? One was intended for San Diego, and the other for Tucson, AZ. When it's this hot, can't hardly blame somebody for wanting a nice cold PBR!
