Larry Allison put this class together & I took the first one back in 03...and yes, he had worked a long time with INDOT, I assume he is still teaching the class. The appraisal product is quite different, and you really will benefit from the class if you intend to pursue that line. In fact, I wouldn't even attempt doing them without the classes and some additional training - at least in the beginning.
 
Unless you're going to be doing very non-complicated projects, a certified general classification is almost a must...
 
Actually they need many certified residential and residential to do some major upcoming work (or so I was told).
 
I have seen very few projects that could be completed entirely without some commercial work unless it was just part of a project, a very small project or a project that was broken up among firms.
