Ingress/egress In The Sketch?

Doing a condo now. There is an entry, I suppose you could go out the second story window or balcony.
There's One Way, Lord I just can't go out that door. :dancefool:

By the waterfront, most entry doors are dictated by the elevation required by Flood Certifications, perhaps the 10ft tall person should be living there ?

Sleeping with the Trainer....hmm

Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets..........

If a client wants to add requirements to the GSEs', doing business with that client would seem to make it necessary, whether you win the argument or not.

True...however, they need to add those prior to report, not after. Go to your dentist or lawyer and see if they work that way. I think you'll find a nice fat bill in the mail. We agreed to do this for this much, not that.

Yup. Most people don't brag about that.

Well, #1 I am a women so it’s my time to shine. So yes. I am brazen. I’m 10 feet tall.

I am not an appraiser. I am becoming one though. I have a teacher that lives with me 24/7, and I sleep in the same bed as him. I pick his brain all day every day.

If your smart, your trainees should fear me.

I’m going to become an appraiser. Like my husband taught me. I will not become a form filler like 99% of residential appraisers. So yes, you are a dime a dozen. A real appraiser? No they are not a dime. They are highly valued.

But you’re type. Check boxes. H&B use. Check. (Instant infraction on a 1004) and that’s you. Check, check, check, check——ship.

You are a dime a 2 dozen.

You make all of these assumptions on ONE DATA POINT... you are going to be a great appraiser. You did not even bother to read or try to comprehend any of the other information I posted. AND BLOCKED.

I don't disagree, but Mean Old Mr. Reality rises from the miasma of the GSEbog, and reminds that, the client has yet to pay the invoice for the appraisal: one can stand on Principle and argue SOW and add-on requirements till Robert Goodloe Harper comes home- and risk non-payment; or one can suck it up, accept the insult, stop the argument and adjust fees future work or discard the client and get a new one. 'Tis not as if one is being asked to change a value.

You don't have to draw doors on a sketch to show ingress/egress. Just put the word "entry" where the front door is.

At current fees, I can only spend approx. 5 min on a sketch. I've never drawn doors, interior walls, fireplaces, hallways, etc. And I never will. The purpose of an appraisal sketch is noted in the statement of assumptions and limiting condition.

A "nicer/more detailed sketch" might make some feel like their appraisal report is somehow better, but it serves no real purpose. I prefer not to waste my time on things that don't matter.
