Like the red rag

This is pure ingenuity. A garden hose fed into the house and connected to the kitchen sink. I love the plastic bags

That red rag can come in useful - grab it , stick it in your back pocket next time you go to the auto supply, and claim to be from "Ray's AUto Service", it's always good for a 20% discount around here.

Thats creative but not as effective as the guy who ran a hose from his hose bib to the hose bib on the neighboring vacant house where the utilities were not shut off yet. He just turned off his main and enjoyed the "free" water from next door.
