Learning Appraisal.com/2008 Exam

Hi Amy! I just took "the new" test on Friday. Thankfully, I passed. I had used www.learnappraising.com and it helped me. It looks like many of the study programs out there are still for the old version of the test. The test here in PA was 165 questions (150Q and 15 'pre-test' Q)
Make sure you know IRV, PGIM, NOI, GRM, the new USPAP stuff, forms of ownership, easement types, lease types and the four effects on value. Obviously that's not everything on the test but are some key points that will be helpful.
Best of luck to you!

I am preparing for the 2008 exam with my test date being right around the corner.

I saw on this site, people recommending learningappraisal.com, so I went there and began taking the tests.

My question is: are the test questions on that website similar to those found on the "new" exam?

I will be taking the practice tests until I master them. Is that sufficient? Is there another practice test I/we should be taking?

I have taken 5 of the 8 necessary educational requirements through AI, with the notable exception of G2 and G3. When I took G1 it was a SLEW of mathmatical formulae I have not seen since; for instance the conversion of future value to present value taking into account not just a discount rate, but changes in market appreciation and increases in building/land value in excess of market.

Was that on the 2008 exam?

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
