Answer:

Yes, except for the URAR. Give me 4 more hours.

Answer:

It's the next one up.

Answer:

Bob who? From where?

Charlotte,

I just had a loan officer ask me when he can expect the hard copy on an appraisal when he knows the appointment isn't until Friday afternoon!!

ANSWER to all: When it's done :!:

"You don't have it yet??"

"I'll relay your message to our administrative staff (turn to look in mirror) and see if I can get them to expedite it for you."

"Our IT guy thinks your server may be having a problem but he's trying his best to track it down for us. I'll call you the moment we can identify where the holdup is (turn to look in mirror)."

"We've just been swamped this week! Since you're one of our best clients, I'll move yours ahead of the others in this "rush" stack and ensure my office manager (turn to look in mirror) jumps on it just as soon as it's finished."

"My vacation starts tomorrow and I'll start your report just as soon as I return in two weeks." (Okay, okay.....that's what I WISH I could say!)

Wally... (turn to look in mirror)

That's similar to:

Lender: There's an oversight in your report we'd like you to take care of, please. You forgot to put "miles from subject" on one comp.

Answer: That was the darn new girl who didn't work out. Damn, what other things did she screw up? Thanks for letting us know. We'll take care of it. Sorry, but ya know, we can't get good help nowadays

Somebody please explain to me the difference between:

1. A rush

2. A super rush !

3. A super duper extra rush !

I wish some of these clients had heard to story about the boy who cried RUSH ! too many times...sooner or later nobody paid any attention to him.

Jeff,

1. $100 :D

2. $200

3. $300 and up

If only it were that simple. I think I can count on one had the number or orders in the last six months that DIDN'T have the word RUSH on it...

:!: :!: News flash - extra extra :!: :!:

I actually had a client call and tell me she had a rush, and after she explained why it WAS a legitimate real live rush, I explained I didn't stand a snowballs chance of accomodating her.

I then had her tell me when she REALLY needed it as opposed to w-a-n-t-ed and the right out of the barrel REAL top dollar they were willing to pay for the service of getting it accomplished in that time frame... and I was soo flabbergasted that I took the job on!

Of course she knew, and I knew she knew, that the thing had been looked at last year by another appriaser in this office... that helped. particularly since the floorplan was a nightmare of curves, angles and oddities.

the floorplan was a nightmare of curves, angles and oddities.

 Of course that's a rush. Couldn't just be a normal cracker box.

Phone call from Bob the Lender: I need a refi - how quick?

Answer: December.

Problem is, they're still sending the order.
