Send an email or make a phone call to every PAC or appraisal association in the US.

Ever look up hvcc on Wikipedia? Makes me laugh. And pretty much describes it accurately.

Who ever said hvcc created AMC’s? Just took them from 10% of the market to 90%+. I never worked for an AMC before 2006. And that was because my countrywide clients eventually told me I had to sign up with landsafe. We fought it a long time, lol. They paid $325 back then, so that was good enough for me. Last order I saw after corelogic bought them was for $265. Guess it’s just a free market thing? No thanks.

That video above is telling. I never thought about who agents might be letting into properties. I’d be very concerned if I was a listing agent. And buyers agents need to be concerned that their borrowers are paying for appraisals and getting a cheap 3rd rate product at full prices.

Is there an AMC out there that isn’t a complete **** show?
 
States are making a difference. Feds can’t stop them.
 
BINGO! The answer has been here along. If Appraisers want to reach out and sound the alarm to the general public at large about how Hybrids could negatively impact their vested homeownership interest s Youtube IS the way to go.

It’s free (publicity)and available to anyone, anywhere at anytime.

YouTube has an audience reach of multi millions and the ability to get the message out there immediately.

The public does not read Appraisers blogs, GSE mortgage letters, publications/announcements or Housingwire. Nor do they have the time or interest to play AMC catch-up.

What “scares the daylights” out of me are the flat out factual errors and misrepresentations in the video and petition. IMO it’s the #1 reason why appraisers who depend on lender related work are being left behind. It’s a sad state of affairs.
 
Remove the Trump reference...
They won't because some are in it for the fight more than solutions.

The video and petition are perfect examples of "Stating solutions you think you want before identifying problems you actually have".
