Way to go Charlotte....don't you mean WE won $15,000 in the lottery?

I drove nearly 150 miles today...two inspections in the mountains west of here. Really took longer than the miles would indicate. What was really interesting was seeing a small herd of deer with a really nice 5 point buck only 25 yards off the road. They just stood there starring at me.

One of the properties was just a half mile from the Hayman Wildfire burn area. Really looks like moon scape out there. Just down the road from the subject was the burned out remains of a nice year around home. So sad.

After finishing my inspections, left home at nine AM...finished at 3PM, I drove to the county seat (Cripple Creek) to get the property cards. Couldn't help but have a little snack and pull a few handles on the slot machines at my favorite slot club. Hit a $500 jackpot on a $1 machine. Actually came home with $800 more than I left with this morning. Usually I end up losing the appraisal fee every time I do one in Teller County!

$15,000???? Can you say Christmas Cruise? Sounds like you could use some time off, anyway!

Charlotte........YIPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course, we're thankful, BUT Dave, Wm.Robinson and other TN sians....It sure would have been nice if he won the money the day before we left Delaware on Thanksgiving Day for your Tennessee! We definitely would have stayed longer instead of doing the quick trip in 4 days!

Mike....WAY TO GO!

Yeah, guys.....nice little boost!

Mike,

In light of Charlotte's windfall, would you be willing to discuss and rethink your franchise fee to get yoru first one up and running?

First? I have 3 Area Developments up and running and 6 franchises sold.

But let me say that's not my motivation for participating in some of these discussions. It's to learn.

Well,,,ahhhh, sure, we can rethink it. How about no front end franchise fee, only a charge (inflated, of course) for the equipment. Then, all I want is 15% of your action for the rest of your life!

Mike,

Need a job? Only kidding. I'm sure you know if a franchiser was to make a profit on any equipment, service or supplies these things would have to be disclosed in the UFOC and to make changes like that now would take 90 -120 days.

Nah, we would rather just pass on the savings.

So that Wayne doesn't shut down this thread let's not talk about franchising at the same time we talk system improvements particularly those I speak of.

Landsafe did one loan for every aprraiser in the United States last month. Raise your fees now and dig in later.
