I collect information from a variety of sources, including (not only) online historical data. I see no reason to exclude data that may be useful in analyzing the market at that time.

Do you rely on your memory?

I am saying you are a tool for the GSEs that lost billions. They are looking to put the blame on appraisers and their E&O. If appraisers did not carry E&O the GSEs would not be carrying out this witch hunt. Just make sure your E&O is all paid up because you might just have to defend your review work and an appraiser who has nothing to lose and their attorney who is eyeballing your E&O policy.
