Hey Folks, Its been awhile since I used this to complete a cost approach, but the results come back with a "base cost" figure of $117.53 and "Basic structure total cost" which I think includes more elements like foundation, siding, some interior finishes(?) and this Unit cost is at $185.18...Lastly, as I worked up including a garage in my estimate, there is also a "Replacement cost new" figure with a unit cost of $198.04, but this appears to include consideration of garage costs...dumb question...in developing the cost approach which figure do I use for the unit cost calculation in the cost approach in relation to GLA? Thanks in advance for any input! Bob

Print it out using the 1007 form option and that will clear things up

LOL, no. On the drop down list...

Back when we got the book with quarterly updates, they used to include a couple of the blank 1007's so you could make copies.
This was pre-WWW days

If you're using the cost book, I highly recommend using the 1007 form mentioned above to ensure accurate calculations. When I used M & S, I created create a spreadsheet for this purpose.
