B) To one and all:
McKissock is at the forefront of appraisal education in every regard. I started work with McKissock when the only Instructors were Dick McKissock, an instructor from New York state, and myself. I worked there long enough(from 1993 until 1999) to see the company grow to over 10 instructors, a new headquarters building, and courses being taught nationwide. I saw the development of course in linear and multi linear regression developed by the technology genius of the company, Matt McKissock. What I saw in the way of course text, materials, and presentation was a system second to none. Even the AI recognized and gave credit to many of their courses. They have always been first in line when either new technology was needed or when new courses and material was needed. When FHA developed the 4150.2 handbook and the requirement for registration after passing an exam was implimented in 1999, I traveled from coast to coast teaching the material. We also had supplemental material developed by myself and others that we used in the process.
I have not worked with McKissock since 1999. I found myself spending too much time on the road and backed off with a good feeling about what I had accomplished with them, and an ongoing respect for them. I know that if anyone has a concern they will be quick to address it. They have the highest in integrity and professionalism.
Charlotte, I thought you just might be in one of my classes in Ocean City next week
