NAR appraiser search

My understanding is that is not what dues are for. What is important is if someone wants to spam you with CE course offers or tell you about their new listing they can always reach you. :)
:rof::rof:

My all time favorite was an ad for 'Tie Align'. The ad had some silly verbiage about how frustrating it was being on a property showing and having your tie flapping in the breeze and they had just the product to save your starched and pressed image.

Uh, boys. I think that's done been invented and it's called a tie tack. Hell, for that matter, if it's really a problem, use your lovely R pin to hold the tie in place.

I understand they've made a pretty good killing selling our email addresses.

I strted forwarding all my RE related spam to the top people at my board office. It was not long after that a memo came out stating that they were no longer selling the e-mail list. It has been some time and I still get plenty of RE industry spam.

The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® offers designations for the Residential Accredited Appraiser (RAA) and for the General Accredited Appraiser (GAA).

Guess you need NAR appraiser designations to be listed.

A. I couldn't find the link to find 'appraisers.'

B. I did use their 'what's your home worth?'.....

Public records data or calculated estimates indicate that houses in your area are valued between $154,500 and $1,000,000 during the last 18 months.

And they missed the $1.8 million sale....too bad. Pretty bad comp check.

That was sexist and totally uncalled for. I’m not sure if you intended it as a slight, but I’m considering alerting a monitor. I cherish my R pin. I rarely wear it anymore, but I display it proudly in my office. I endured 4 hours of speeches from a pack of snarling blue haired women before I was sworn in. I earned it.

:rof:You kill me. Actually, I thought it kind of funny that they'd send such an ad to someone named Caterina. Why do I need a new fangled tie tack? Now, if you have something to keep panty hose from getting snagged on rose bushes, I'll look. I still have my R pin somewhere around here.

The real shame is my Board President plaque. I think it's on top of a file cabinet in the garage.

If true then they designate dead men. One listed for my town died at least 6 years ago, in fact, I am not sure he ever made it to the 21st Century.

indeed you did.... :rof:

On the Realtor home page, dead center and down under "About the NAR" subheading, there is a line that says "Find an appraiser" That takes you to a search menu

Thanks Michael.
Since I'm an associate, I wonder if I can get on the 'list.'

I though I heard AI was trying to kiss and make up with
the Gorilla.

NAR wants to re-unite AI under their umbrella. I hate the idea with a passion. But I would not be surprised if it happened. It would virtually spell the end of all the other organizations unless they opted to become subservient to the NAR. The ultimate goal is to restore the "buddy buddy" "you're a team player" spirit between Realtor and Appraiser with the same goal that Mortgage Brokers had.... make the deal work regardless.
