Our BoR is shifting from Matrix to Navica. Anyone familiar with them or how the two compare.

Can’t compare but, I use navica with one day of my MLS subscription services. No problem with it.

We have had Navica for some 8 years or so, maybe 10.

The are having problems with losing associations to bigger MLS providers around here (Bright). Also issues with NAR/PAR compliance (broker issues) with the data, something that doesn't concern us appraisers but I've heard this problem from several local associations. I can't remember the technical name of the software plugin but can find out and share it with you and your board. VERY important for the BOD to be aware of Navica's limitations (I'm on our local BOD) for NAR compliance purposes.

We are in process of changing providers as we speak. Should be done by the end of the year.

We had NAVICA before we joined into a large regional Paragon system IRMLS. I liked NAVICA, but joining into a large group reduced our fees. We still have our local County RE board and have a seat on the large regional MLS board.

Appraisal section meeting today. The MC tool does not work. BoR said "go away, you bother me..." Doesn't want to deal with it and telling people to shut up as the agents are howling like mad....they come first. Appraisers...not so much.

Appraisers are only good for their dues. The BOR’s don’t even pretend to care anymore.

Have been using Navica for years, the MC tool does work, just some additional criteria needs to be implemented in the initial search. Navica also works well with Titan Analytics (we don't have Spark or Datamaster in our area for comparisons though).

Email from out director said that they are fixing so many bugs that the MC tool will have to wait and the same for getting info for the CRS on line..but it is coming ASAP. Our director, bless her soul, has caught L from the agents moreso than the appraisers and those take priority.
