Brokers are in near rebellion. Apparently it takes 2 hours to input a listing, Matrix is back up and running in tandem with Navica. Search of sales in one town yield zero but Matrix showed 88 sales using identical parameters. Navica is slower, agents don' like new printouts. MC still doesn't work. To escape the contract will cost $2.2 million. The three brokers who chose the vendor are getting gnawed with vitriol. Fun fun fun on the Autobahn.

We were notified that the MLS is negotiating a settlement with NAVICA to get out as cheaply as possible. The board has faced a full scale rebellion from agents required to spend 2 or more hours inputting new listings. We are going back to Matrix. I did discover that it often failed to correctly search. I used NAVICA to hunt comps and found only 3 in an area that I knew should have had to have at least 30 or more sales. I went back to Matrix which is already back up and running, and it found 86 in identical search parameter.

Never used NAVICA but Matrix is great.

Well, to get out of NAVICA, it will cost us $300,000. And so the other side is that next year's dues will be raised substantially, not only to pay the higher prices of Matrix but to run it along side NAVICA all these past several months and then to fix the system. Some very unhappy agents. And 3 brokers who are hiding out as they were the ones who selected Navica without any outside "help"...whoopie.

The only MLS I really liked was RISCO. The funnel tool allowed you to sort out one factor at a time. Long gone.
