I really could use the help of someone who is fluent in french (and english, janet) so that i can interview a possible witness to identity theft/fraud.

A local high school french teacher might enjoy earning a few bonus bucks over the summer.

I did think of that but schools are closed for the summer.

tony L...this is not a local case..long distance for me but i have all inclusive phone service so that doesnt matter. paing someone out of the pittance i get for these jobs would put me in the -$ catagory.

plus i was hoping someone here would like to help rid the world of another fraudulent appraiser (aledged)

this all brings back bad memories. I recall one instance when i was in france and asked the guy at the ferry when it left for Dover, England. he replied to me in french that he did not speak english. i knew that was BS so i told him, in english exactly what i thought of him..expletives and all. funny how after that he spoke perfect english. similar things have happened in Montreal. Funny how some countries hate americans. once i was in Thailand and asked the bus driver politely in thai to stop so i could get off. was ignored until i shouted out in english for him to stop the $^&(($#_( bus. He stopped and I got off.
