New DRE regulation starts 7/1/08

I just completed my application renewal for license until Nov 30, 2010 since I finished my CE several months ago. Cost was $55.00. However, I attended the FREAB meeting Oct, 2007 (voluntary) and I believe I heard the fee was going to be around $10-15 if I am correct. Anybody know why the additional $ if I was correct on what I heard.

$25 of the renewal fee is for the ASC National Registry Fee
