Thank Goodness, there is one Democrat with some common sense - Manchin saved the day again or we'd have what Biden promised in the campaign. Government regulators who would promulgate the idea that banks should not lend to energy companies.

Ah, a look back at the year in oil. $65 seems so high back then...but the oil stock supply estimates are flat in 2022. It will be a while before drilling translates into production. After 5 years of fewer wells, and fewer completion rigs, it takes time to find a completion rig, complete a well, build storage tanks or a pipeline, then transport, treat, and store the oil so that the refinery can utilize it. The last $15-20 is on Putin. The previous $30-40 is on Biden.

I think there are a number of people who believe we must destroy the economy to build the new world order of socialism with unfettered borders, and equal wages and it will run on rainbows and unicorns.
