No way. Too much of a conflict of interest. I may get subpoenad to testify against her.

Absolutely, and how could you justify that you were unbiased if you did do it?

Good point!! But you don't know that till it happens. & IF you do a "solid" report what better referrals would you get than the prosecutor??.

Do the appraisal pro bono. You'll be famous someday.

OMG!! Are you people on drugs? Maybe your just kidding, but this kind of help is NOT funny.

Jeniffer you are right to run, as fast as you can away from that! Don't be tempted for No dollars. Afterall havn't you had just about enough with all of the court stuff.

Doing work for this lady will only help your enemies drive nails into your coffin.

Good luck and best wishes to you...

Jennifer,

I'm with you on not doing the appraisal, but it's not because of the liability. My refusal of the job would be on appearances of impropriety and just basic principle. If this person belongs in jail, then why would I who believes so strongly in her punishment, accept an assignment that aids in her release, even though it may only be temporary??

I've have already made it perfectly clear to her that I will not do the job, or any jobs for her in the future ever again. I was only posting this because I thought it was unbelievable that she would even ask me.

I guess it just goes to show that just because you have 'brass ones' it doesn't guarantee the brains behind them, eh?

That, and perhaps it underlines this person's complete lack of understanding of ethics.
