Outlook Vs. Outlook Express

I use Outlook. Would never go back to OE. Takes some time to get used to Outlook but once you have it down there are many more things you can do with outlook that OE won't or can't do.

Moe ... say it as many times as you want ... it ain't gonna change ...

LOL DOUG
I just noticed it. Did I do that? Was a hard day today!

How do you check 2 E mail addresses on one domain ?
Moe

By setting an account for each address ... the domain stays the same but the account address changes .... I have my own domain (for the welding business) and check 6 addresses on it ... (so I was wrong about my original # checked) I check 4 addresses on my primary ISP domain, have 2 appraisal addresses on yet another domain and have an address on another domain that I use for my music business and gig contacts ..... Just set up a different account for each address and tell Outlook to check them all .....;)

I just called my ISP which was the source of the info I posted and this is what they said. Unlike outlook express, in outlook you can not separate the various names. yes, you can check many e mail accounts but they will be mixed up UNLESS you go into elaborate folder system where each e mail for the music business goes to the music folder and e mail for the welding business goes to the welding folder.
Another way to do it on outlook is to log on as into windows XP as a different user.

They did admit they are not experts and directed me to Microsoft.

Moe

I disagree whole heartedly Moe .... Everything comes to my inbox just like normal ..... I will see if I can get some screen shots to show you how to set it up .....

Doug yes it does but does it comes mixed up for all the accounts or separate for each account as it does in outlook express?

Moe,

I can't:
1. figure out what you're trying to make Outlook do, and;
2. figure out what your ISP's answer was as to why you can't do it!

When you say "mixed up" do you mean everything from all accounts into the 'Inbox'.

Dan
Outlook express allows you to sign up as a unique user and get that user's E mail, not mixed with other E mails. I was trying to do same in Outlook
