Ever since the last couple updates for total, I have noticed that when a client wants me to change the city name, there is no way to override the USPS standard for the city name in the report.

I used to be able to just type in the new city name and lock it, but that doesn't work anymore. No matter what I do, it just changes back.

Anyone have any insight or workarounds?

Yeah, ever since the smartaddress came around, editing the address field has been a problem. Weird that locking the field doesn't work.

I have a blurb in my boilerplate about USPS address differing from physical and use it whenever necessary.

Alright sounds good to me. We'll see if the clients will take it though -_-

All you have to do is click "Assume all addresses are USPS standardized" and it will let you change it to whatever you want.
Nice call for a newbie. Welcome to the wild west of appraisal forums :)
