PCV Murcor - STEALING MY FEE

Prior to the HVCC, out of fear of losing all my work, I regretfully and shamefully signed up with PCV Murcor. Similar to many others, I lost most of my clients. Over the past year, I've been subsidizing my depleted work load with table scraps from the PVC Murcor sweat shop. I've been tolerating their pay, ignorant review and status staff, and the Saturday evening status calls. But what happened today just put me over the edge!

I had a homeowner who wanted an evening appointment. I explained the requirement for daylight hours and that evening is not possible. He asked if I could come during the day and do the inspection, then come back at 8-9pm to go inside. I told him that's not possible either, unless the AMC wants to pay for an additional trip fee. (Ya, right!) So, he agreed to 5pm. I showed up a little early and took pictures and measured. I waited and waited and finally realized he was a no-show. I called him and of course he was sorry. But very quickly he asked, "did you do everything you need to do outside". I said, yes. Then he said, "good, now can you do an evening appointment?" I was boiling, he played me like a fiddle! This was his intent the entire time.

The following day I called PCV and told them the story and requested a trip fee. They understood and all was well...until today. I received my trip fee for $22.55. What a JOKE! I called the broker (a local company I worked with for full compensation before this HVCC crap) and asked him what he was charged. He said, $310 for the appraisal and $75 for a trip fee.

OUT OF THE $75 REQUESTED FOR A TRIP FEE, I RECEIVED 22.55!!!!

WHAT DID THEY DO TO COLLECT 70% OF MY TRIP FEE?!?!

If I was the borrower or broker I would be equally ****ed! What a sham!!! I'm so disgusted and angry!

Yes, I will spread the truth about this company. EVERYONE NEEDS TO HEAR ABOUT THESE AMC's!
 
Your time means nothing to them. They just have Google calcuate your distance traveled and pay you a few cents per mile.
 
PCV Murcor never has never treated me in this fashion. I am not defending them, I just wish I better understood all sides of the situation described here on this thread. They pay me market fee with no argument. Maybe it is location. I would like to know what is going on.
 
They did the same thing to me January, 2009. I charged a very reasonable $75 trip fee for a no show with a 60+ mile roundtrip and they said the most they could pay me was $63.30.

They used to pay a decent $425 - $500 fee for 1004 and REOs, but now all they do is send POS $200 broadcast orders.

Last month they ordered a 2055 exterior and I confirmed twice over the phone that the purpose was for a refi. After I turned it in they said on no it was a repo, do it over for free. I finally got them to agree to a $100 fee for the new assignment. Then a week later they took me off their list for charging too much. They are the biggest bunch of a** holes since Valocity. I am filing an HVCC violation complaint against them with FreddieMac.
 
Seriously? You car, your gas, your time and they took $52.50? This seems so very backwards. That is incredibly ridiculous. I can't even fathom how these people look themselves in the mirror everyday. Appraisers are just completely being exploited. The saddest part of all of this is - we're stuck. It's like the American dream doesn't exist for appraisers anymore. I know it doesn't make to get upset over fifty two dollars and fifty cents. But it's the principle. There is absolutely no reason you should have not been given that entire $75.00. I am really sorry that happened to you. I know it must have felt like a knife in your stomach when you opened your mail and saw that check.
 
Sounds like both borrower and the AMC are scumbags...live and learn. Being the impatient man i am if i had been stiffed deliberately by the HO, I would have went home and said nothing to either one....let them scream.
 
AMCs think HVCC has given them a license to steal. When we do get a decent $450+ fee the AMCs just slap $200-$300 on top of it which causes the borrower to flip out when he sees his HUD-1 "OMG the appraiser got $750 for 20 minutes in my house!" Yea, I'm really raking it in, that is why I drove a ten year old pick-up to your appointment. I wonder what type of cars the AMC presidents drive?
 
Cars!!! Are you kidding? They're taking helipcopters to work! And their employees have their own drivers - just like movie stars.

Correct your vocabulary, and you are correct. It is not stealing, they are simply needed govt corrections.

Please respectfully understand, down the road, you will have no power in any fashion. Gvt will determine your every move at some point.
 
Pure greed.Based on past threads they've got be in contention for the top three most hated. I do one every two months or so for them but only if its a 1025 so I can earn a living wage. They broadcast $200 orders up here that are gone in seconds. Probably bill them out at x2 plus. Why would you fight over the right to lose money? If you miss a deadline they will threaten you with order cancellation and no payment.

Check out the other thread on their new requirements. All that for $200. Unbelievable!! Management making easy promises to keep or gain big box clients then putting the burden on their pathetically under paid appraisers. fupcv. There should be a slave revolt.
