A timber cruise sounds like fun. I assume they serve drinks?
Wow Smacky. Not in five years. Current prices. Trying to plan for the future. Sell assets? Sell pine trees? 401k?
We have been seeing $2000 an acre ballpark...not rocket science.
If you don't know why respond? Bored?

If he times it right and there's another massive hurricane the kids might get to go to Duke instead of a state school.
I assume they serve drinks?
You sister should divorce that Dook scumbag immediately. lol. At the very least he should be excluded from all family functionsMy brother in law just graduated from Duke. Die hard Tarheel fan....hated Duke all of his life. God spoke to him (he is in his 40's) and he got a free ride to Duke seminary. His head and ego grew 10 fold. Now he wears nothing but dark blue??n.
As for the trees. I purchased the land in 1994 and thought the harvest date would be in 30-35 years. Professionally managed throughout the years. I get +-$11,00 a year just from the pine needles. Pays taxes, maintenance, etc.

Is that $1,100 or $11,000? And who does what with all the fallen pine needles? I have no idea. Mulch?
Also, If a man is alone in the forest speaking, and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?![]()
