Sitting at my local coffee shop, what I assume, appraiser is talking about how he is doing interior inspections for Groundwalks(couldn't make it out) and was making bank. Seemed like it was photos, sketch, and questions. When he gets off the phone I'm going to get more info but does anyone know who to contact and fees? I can use the extra work mostly going into the slower season soon. Cant imagine it would take long to measure and take photos.

Google Groundwork. From the reviews they pay $25 for 3 photos and $45 -$50 for interior inspections with sketch and a bunch of pictures. Hardly sounds like “making bank” to me.

Looks like these interiors are $75 and he said takes about 15-30 minutes depending on the house size. He said super easy and a good extra $500+ a week for minimal hours. He said Brett is the guy but wouldnt give me his email. Who knows Brett?

Yeah I'm sure. I do those too. Knock out two a night for a quick $150-$200. Wonder who Groundwork does it for

Is this an appraisal...with certification, work file, license requirement and is this "acting as an appraiser? Does USPAP apply?

No USPAP from what he said. He is literally just an inspector he says. Nothing appraisal related at all.

I know I'm the devil doing hybrids but those appraisals are the future sadly. Rather get a good name instead of joining in late.
