Good post. It's all about the profit...appraisers seem to think that they are a non-profit company and were opened to be our friends.

That is why I hate AMCs so much. We are just a number. Next!

While I like being separated from the mortgage broker, the AMC's will sell you out and throw you under a bus in a heart beat....and will not even tell you. Dang, I haven't received an order in 15 day's, it must be slow.
 
I just completed the Amrock data collection webinar.....
I don't think appraisers have much to worry about, at least from Amrock....
Seems to have many glitches in the data collection program (software and procedure)....
Not quite ready for primetime.....
But the required data to be collected is more thorough than not....

Plus data collectors have to use a tablet....

Looks like these interiors are $75 and he said takes about 15-30 minutes depending on the house size. He said super easy and a good extra $500+ a week for minimal hours. He said Brett is the guy but wouldnt give me his email. Who knows Brett?

Might take 15 minutes but you have to drive there and back! No Thanks!!
 
Going where the market rides. If that's $75 inspections and $60-$150 hybrids from home with my kids. It's been good so far. Look at FNMA is doing from posts. The future.

I've been doing this for a very long time and have heard dozens of "it's the future" predictions come and go.
As a trainee, it's very naïve of you to come on this forum acting like you know what the future of this business will bring.
As another member says, "you do not know what you do not know".
Good luck with those $60 reports.
 
The fact that the investment groups that own AMC's aren't making enough money off our backs isn't my problem. And having me work for free so "investors" can sit by the pool and count their money isn't going to happen.
 
Why would any of us know him? Contact the company and talk to someone there.
We wouldn’t. There’s Probably a troll or two in this (and other) threads tryin to stir up interest to get more Appraisers on board. As you can see a company infomercial with contact info was posted.
