I'm thinking to change from NDC then ParcelQuest to ?.... for public records database and comps search in California. Any suggestions?
Sandra

I was an NDC subscriber for many years until they got bought and it became ParcelQuest. I use it a lot. It's easy to search when compared to other databases I've used, and I have access to the parcel maps as necessary. I couldn't do what I do without it.

I used Data Express back when they were owned by FNC and found the data and search capabilities quite good.

Of course there data was better than most because they would be stripping our appraisal reports through their AI ready format.

Since Core logic bought them I’ll never use them again. I just checked Parcel Quest and it’s even more expensive than Data Express.

No Realist or CRS in your MLS?

I use those as a back-up and confirmation. They changed the CRMLS so that it doesn't provide as much zoning info as before, for example, but I do like the radius search tool. Our CRMLS is GI/GO, so if Realtors don't provide correct info, one could make a mistake. Just did a high-end review with a $8,800,000 "sale" per the Realtor; turned out there never was a sale, but the gov't seized the property 2 months subsequent to the unrecorded phantom "sale" for $5,200,000 transfer value. Gotta check and double check with 2nd or 3rd sources to verify.

Realist is very slow with there updates. Have you tried ParcelQuest? I was checking out their website. But it seems like they don't offer a free trial. $155.00 per month is too expensive. Maybe they offer a couple of counties instead of an entire State?
