Qualifications /Resume/ Experience page

How many appraisers include an Qualifications/ Experience / Resume page in all their reports?

The reason I ask is that I only include such page if requested by a client as I send an updated Experience page to all regular clients at the beginning of every year.

I received a call from a potential client yesterday who received a copy of a report I did for a client ( FHA Report) and they asked me questions as to what experience I had in the area.
Seems they were using a Certified Appraiser who has been certified for 1 1/2 years and has 3 or more associate appraisers working under them and they are always getting stips back from underwriting.
I guess they sent my appraisal into underwriting and the comment was "finally using a quality appraiser". ( was nice to hear that)

They asked for my Qualifications / Resume Page and when they received it they seemed shocked that I was appraising for over 20 yrs. They said all the Qualification pages they receive from the names of appraisers they get referred to them are appraisers with less than 10 years experience.

Just wondering if maybe not enough qualified appraisers are letting Quality clients out there no they exist?

We quit including resume/qualifications once we stopped sending hardcopies of reports. May need to revisit that policy. Thanks for the suggestion.

All commercial reports have resume.

Residential reports for attorney work also have a resume.

Residential lending reports do not include the resume. Maybe I should rethink that.

I'm going to start including my resume and a picture of the hair growing out of my ears. Nothing says experience like wild hairs poking out of the ear canal.

I understand nose hair also helps.

I agree with Judy and Mr. Rex, those show character and wisdom. But Mike, long, over-grown nose hairs are just plain gross...

OMG...and they are still using them?

I agree with updating my regular clients annually. I also, when talking with prospective clients, like to take the "job interview" approach. Unfortunately, it seems, with rare exception, they are more concerned with comp checks, fee schedules, and turn-times, than the amount or quality of education and experience I have. Though, admittedly, I do not have 20 years, nor ten for that matter, I feel I am both qualified and capable of producing quality work.
