Thanks Mike I have read all of that. I was wondering if anyone on the forum has had experience with it.

I know that a couple of times when my Father had gout flair, my Mom would load him up with the Apple Cider Vinegar and honey, mixed with some hot water, and it would clear up.

Thank You Pam. I am going to try it.

3 Tbs Apple Cider Vinegar (best if it has the "Mother", typically found in Health Food Stores)
3 Tbs Honey
About 1/2 cup of hot water

Stir and drink, 2 or 3 times a day.

You can also try to apply an ice pack as cold as you can stand it and then right to as hot as you can stand. It apparently breaks up the uric acid crystals that cause the pain. Some docs think that the uric acid can build up right after a traumatic event or something highly emotional.

Pam,
I have a friend who was diagnosed at age 30 with severe RA and has cured herself.
she used to take Pregnozone (sp) and Metheltrexate (sp?) and vomit all day Friday after her treatments on Thursday...she was a mess. Now she has exteme levels of RA in her blood but NO SYMPYOMS.

She loves to tell her story, tell her Allison said to call 951-927-6278 or 840-5941

BTW My Gout is gone and I am on a diet. Over the last 3 months I have lost 25lbs. That in itself can trigger a flair up of gout. Add a few Ice Cold beverages to that and WAM. I have declared war on uric acid.
