It is not going to matter much to me since I will be retiring when my AR license expires June 30, 2026 the exact date the OK new CE rules go into effect, and I will retire my OK license then anyway. But for an AR licensee they will be 28 hours when the rule kicks in, but will need 14 more hours to renew in OK the following year since they are on a 3 year cycle. Assuming it is acceptable CE in both states, the issue is most appraisers in AR will not get their hours until the six months prior to renewal. But to license in OK, they will have to basically take 14 hours more, but only need 14 more hours to renew on the 2 year cycle in AR, but as a practical matter it is forcing the appraiser to take 14 hours every individual year rather than load up the entire CE requirement in a short period of time. And some offerings are lumped into 4 or 6 classes depending upon the class provider.
