They're on my list. Well, not HUD and probably not the manufacturer. I'll be talking to the dealership though.

After thinking it over, the label I found is NOT a data plate. So there is no data plate.

I was thinking a similar thing and thought maybe the first pic with the serial number may have been the tag numbers (has an "A" and "B" at the end of it), but I haven't done MH's in a minute, so I'm a little rusty.

When you say "tags" I think you mean data labels and there is no A and B on a label. Just two different (and typically consecutive numbers). If you mean the serial numbers on the sheet I found in the water heater enclosure, there is an A and B.

lol... the unit (each section) is described as 640" x 140"
 
Might the cracks around the data plate be pressure cracks caused when they riveted the plate in place? I have this same siding on my house. It is heavy and can crack if not handled or installed properly.
