Ron Paul is a scary individual, and some of his ideology seems retarded.

True, he's a crackpot. We need stable, reasonable leaders in charge, people like Barney Frank. He's skilled and experienced where monetary policy is concerned.

We need more libertarian thought at all levels of government.

That is because he speaks the truth and deals with reality, it does scare many people, that is why politicans avoid the truth at all cost. It appears odd (I rather not use your word), because people aren't used to hearing straight talk. The national credit card is nearing its limits.

Wow.... I am truly a tea party enthusiast, and supported 80% republicans on my ticket this year. Ron Paul is a nutjob, and he should be as far away as possible from ANY Government office, even local Texas Government.

In 2008, I followed his campaign intently. It was all the rage on the internet. He's not mentally competent to be a crossing guard. No offense.

Although new members traditionally stay in the background for several years, his kid in the U.S. Senate will probably be shaking up that group more than a little bit. :new_usa:

I like his son, a little more realistic, and a lot less senile and crazy.

I'll take a well intentioned nut over a purposeful grifter like Frank or Pelosi any day.

As long as Paul's delusions lead him to the belief that less government is more, he cant wrong.

Just think if Ross Perot had won in 92 or 96. I loved that crazy little sum beech.
