Took the CR test last week, missed by 8 questions:angry:...... I will ace it the next time.... Anywho, here is a sample question which may be simple or complex. If you took your test back in the 20th century, give it a shot.

A lot, 100' x 120', which has a 10ft setback on all sides, is how many acres?

.11

.18

.27

.55

I stared at this one for a good 5 minutes.:rof:

I hope I see that one on the exam!

If that is the exact question the answer is .2755 acres

100 x120 = 12,000 / 43560

The setbacks are a distractor.

Actually 0.275482

(Couldn't resist)

When you take exams, I always tell my students to read the question thoroughly, then read it again. The setbacks don't have a thing to do with square footage.

I teach the Definition of an Appraisal - First

Then I teach 43,560 sq ft in an acre.

These two questions are on each quiz and test throughout the semester and believe it or not there are a few who never get them right!
