It is the hottest fad. The pinks makes a 70db sound (sound level similar to a freeway) that carries over a block and get two or three courts going and I'd think it would bother most homeowners who live nearby. So my $64 question is, if a house is near a pickle ball court, would you mention it and do you think in the long run it might have an impact on value requiring adjustment?

I'm somewhat of a noise snob. Don't like unexpected noise. I use to complain to the city about mowing at 4am on the golf course and was told they gave them a noise exemption because they had to prepare the course for the 8am tee times. So basically your SOL. Fortunately, they stopped early a.m. mowing because $250 a night hotel guests complained too.

Prolly not. People live near trains tracks and seems there isn't much impact on working people's buying habits. Perhaps a mansion would be impacted by the more sensitive rich folks.

No I would not -it would just be a guess at best:)

I didn't know Pickle Ball was that popular.
My generation was tennis courts but young people not really into it.
I put an artificial putting green in my yard and hardly use it. Looks nice though.

Like living by an airport...some people don't care and others, like me, would not buy a house within 1/4 mile of a pickleball court. I'd rather live under an airport runway or next to a freeway.

Probably a slightly reduced pool of buyers but no discernible effect on value.

Pickle ball is a gate way sport

Pickle ball is a senior sport for the most part. Too sedate for me. As far as 70db of sound. I find that hard to believe. Since most volleys are underhand and the ball is like a wiffle ball

That's my point. Some like Pickle ball and some don't care. May even modify it to tennis court.

I think there is something in Lake O about residents complaining about a pickle ball court. Don't know the status of the complaint.
