Thanks, CP! Even IF it is something "wrong" in CrossOver, if we can identify it, maybe we can program around it - make it work transparently to the user. I'll look into it later this month and next - we'll have the code open for some "housekeeping" duties - optimizing, profiling, etc... stuff to clean up messy code and stuff that runs slowly.

Thanks for the direct email, BTW. I'll follow up on a couple of points you brought to mind... ;-)

You're welcome. Running programs in Parallels works, and integrates well with the Mac OS; but it is far more expensive to implement, and cannot match the near seamless way CrossOver allows Windows applications to run in the Mac OS. Squashing the few little bugs will be appreciated.

Neither am I saying people should not. it seems that sometimes people "read" my posts as recommendations, endorsements, etc. even when all I am trying to do is simply pass along info that I think may be of interest. I am "OS/machine agnostic" - LOL. I like/admire Macs, both personally and professionally. If more appraisers used Macs, I would produce software for them. Anyway, I hope this article is of interest and helps. I think the readers here would also benefit from a review of this article by those here who ARE Mac experts. Maybe someone could take germane sections and expand on them from an appraiser's point of view?]
