Nearly every independent fee appraiser who regularly posts....
Complain about something appraisal related....
Staff appraisers don't seem to post their complaints....

They probably have a gag order not to post on social media about their jobs or pay.

Appraisers who take low salaries in order to get a staff job at an AMC contribute to the problem imo. I assume appraiser managers or in some case the appraiser reviewers get well paid at an AMC, but teh regular staff jobs - I interviewed for a few some years back ( never took them), and the base salary was low with a compicated bonus point system that still was meager-

I'm sure every AMC has access to this Forum to monitor comments from their employees.

The AMC , as well as many employer contracts, likely prohibit an employee from any sort of social media posts about the company, or at least any posts that cast the company in a bad light, whether a screen name is used or not.

Staff appraisers with negative comments needn't provide the company's name(s)....
But I get....

That's true Mr. Conway. I have a comprehensive list and am patiently waiting for the highest bid from an AMC, I'll guarantee them a 10 year turn time if they pay me in advance.

You don't think staff can be anonymous....
C'mon....

I think they can try. It's often not very hard to figure out... especially over time... and really especially if someone uses work computers to do it.
